HP offer some very reliable, sturdy and secure devices.  There are usually very few bells and whistles but as robust business machines they are well worth considering.

O2 XDA Exec
The XDA range have a built in telephone and camera as well as the usual PDA features. 

Not as fast as their specialist counterparts but they do give the business user access to the Internet and allows SVS to establish on-line data retrieval and updates.  The Exec is a stylish (and expensive) device that has lots of features including 3G that provides extremely fast Internet access.
